Background: Female-pattern hair loss (FPHL) is a common form of in women and referred to as androgenetic alopecia. It characterized by diffuse reduction density on the crown frontal scalp with retention hairline. Objective: This study aimed examine trichoscopic findings FPHL correlate their relationship disease severity our tertiary care hospital. Materials Methods: was prospective, observational which total thirty female patients age group between 18 45 years were included at outpatient dermatology department within six months. The diagnosis based clinical grounds. Trichoscopic evaluation performed under dermatoscope. Statistical significance difference outcome variables stages assessed Fisher’s exact test. statistical test considered statistically significant P < 0.05. Results: A positive correlation respect seen. HSTH > 10% seen all grades FPHL. BPPS multi-hair follicular unit early (P 0.01); WPPS, focal atrichia, honeycomb pigmentation later 0.01). Conclusion: Our showed trichoscopy As may reveal changes follicle diameter before becomes clinically visible. Regular follow-ups are highly important monitor activity treatment tolerance.
